A charming hand-carved wooden elephant sculpture featuring an intricately detailed floral and foliate design across the body. The warm natural wood finish highlights the depth and character of the carving, while the whimsical raised trunk adds an especially appealing silhouette.

The elephant is elevated on two slender black metal supports set into a substantial rectangular black wood base, giving the piece the appearance of a small collected artifact or architectural fragment displayed in a gallery-style mount.

The reverse has been intentionally left relatively simple, allowing the natural grain, tonal variation, and handcrafted character of the wood to show.

A wonderful decorative accent for a bookshelf, console, entry table, home office, collected global interior, or layered vignette.
