A sophisticated Edward Wormley for Dunbar drop-leaf bar and serving cart, dating to the early 1950s. The design is documented as Model 4487, one of Wormley’s particularly distinctive mobile serving designs for Dunbar.
The cart is constructed in warm-toned mahogany and features a beautifully architectural frame with curved supports, an upper inset glass top, two semicircular drop leaves, and lower serving/storage shelves. The leaves can be raised to create a substantially larger serving surface or lowered for a compact profile, making the piece especially versatile as a cocktail cart, tea cart, or mobile serving table.
