Its generous proportions, oversized cushions, and sculptural smoked Altuglas base capture the relaxed spirit of 1970s design, where comfort became just as important as form. Resting on its distinctive thermoformed smoked Altuglas base, the loveseat appears to float while the deeply cushioned seat invites effortless lounging. The sofa was professionally reupholstered in Italy in a rich burnt-orange corduroy, carefully chosen to complement its unmistakably seventies character. The soft texture enhances its inviting silhouette while remaining true to the warmth and optimism of the original design.

While restoring this piece, we wanted to celebrate everything that made the Marsala so popular and special - comfort, bold materiality, and unpretentious presence.

Condition:
Professionally reupholstered in Italy. Very good vintage condition with Altuglas base showing some wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound and exceptionally comfortable. See less
