Set of six antique ironstone appetizer/dessert plates, circa 1930.
They feature a lovely monochrome cobalt blue design on a white background, with a composition inspired by the vegetable garden and nature, where artichokes, pea pods, root vegetables, fruits, and foliage mingle in a rich and finely detailed design.
The composition is free-form and asymmetrical.
A very attractive and rare set of plates, perfect for setting a sophisticated table, complementing a dinnerware collection, or creating an original wall display.
They are in good condition with a beautiful sheen. The plates have discreet chips on the rim, each visible in the photos.
