This is the white figural monkey cookie jar and lid from the Fitz & Floyd Monkey Business collection, 1977, featuring a glossy glazed ceramic finish with the monkey holding a banana.

This was a figural giftware collection item featuring whimsical, solid white "Blanc de Chine" porcelain items.

Fitz and Floyd frequently used distinct letters, numbers, or geometric combinations (like these interlocking shapes) on their porcelain and earthenware bases. These shorthand codes helped factories track specific mold sets, painters, or production runs. This piece is stamped on the bottom, OD, pictured.

This item is in absolute perfect vintage conditions with no visible cracks, chips or crazing. Lid fits perfectly into the base. See less
