A wonderfully sculptural vintage wooden rocking horse handcrafted by Dawn ’Til Dusk Toys, Inc. of Halifax, Vermont, circa 1970s.

Constructed from solid wood with a warm, richly aged finish, the horse features an expressive hand-cut silhouette, simple peg details, curved wooden rockers, and charming folk-art character. Knots, visible grain, construction marks, and variations in the wood contribute to its distinctly handmade Vermont studio-craft aesthetic.

Especially noteworthy is the original maker's stamp, which remains visible on the piece and reads:
