The colorful harbor scene captures classic mid-century Nantucket, with a sailboat entering the harbor surrounded by small boats, waterfront buildings, docks and the distinctive coastal architecture of the island. Smith’s stylized treatment of the water and architecture, together with the soft palette of aqua blue, cream, gray, salmon and deep green, gives the work a particularly appealing mid-century graphic quality.
Presented under glass in its vintage wood frame with blue-gray accent detailing and original-style matting. See less
