He was widely known for his impressionistic seascapes, harbor scenes, sailboats, and floral artwork. Kaye grew up on Long Island near the Great South Bay, which inspired his lifelong artistic focus on maritime and water themes. His piece of Boaters shows his specialization in palette knife oil paintings and delicate watercolors. The scene is charming with a landscape by a body of water with a canoe going into or being brought in to/from docking. It is encased in a silver etched frame and signed on the lower right side with the date of creation, 1979. It is in good condition for its vintage usage. See less
