Striking vintage studio art glass table lamp base by American glass artist Joe Clearman, featuring a dramatic elongated trumpet-form silhouette and richly iridescent pulled-feather decoration.
The hand-blown glass body transitions from deep cobalt and midnight blue to teal, green, violet, and flashes of warm iridescent color depending on the light and viewing angle. Long, finely drawn feathered lines cascade vertically down the slender body before spreading across the broad circular foot, creating an elegant organic pattern strongly influenced by Art Nouveau glass traditions.
The underside is artist-signed and numbered, adding important provenance and collectibility to the piece.
The lamp retains its vintage brass-tone socket, harp support and wiring. The aged hardware and cord show appropriate patina consistent with vintage use. No lampshade is included.
An exceptional decorative lamp base that works beautifully in Art Nouveau Revival, Hollywood Regency, eclectic, maximalist, studio glass, or sophisticated contemporary interiors. Equally appealing as functional lighting and as a collectible example of American studio art glass.
