Finding grotto-style seating configured as stools is highly unusual, and a matching trio is a spectacular find for upscale interior styling.

Each stool features a beautifully sculpted, carved European beechwood fan/clamshell scalloped backrest. The frames boast an elegant, light-colored cerused/pickled finish that beautifully accentuates the natural open grain of the wood.

Condition Details:

These three stools are in overall good vintage condition, with minimal wear throughout. Please note that two stools have a very slight wobble, which should be easily corrected with a minor adjustment.

Light staining can be seen on the upholstery of most stools. Minor age-related imperfections are also present throughout the set, including small wood cracks, light dents, and other subtle surface blemishes.

Overall, these imperfections are consistent with the age and normal use of a vintage set dating to the early 1980s and do not detract from their overall beauty and character.
