The sculpture has recently been cleaned by a professional restoration studio, which has allowed the ancient polychromy to be restored to an excellent state of preservation, showing vivid and saturated colors. The sculptural work can be traced back to a group of masters active during the first quarter of the 16th century in the central Apennines between Umbria, Lazio and Abruzzo. The Christ measures approximately 80cm x 60cm in width. See less
