Charming mid-20th-century glass lamp shade featuring a softly luminous pale green finish and delicate hand-painted rose decoration.
The generously proportioned shade has a distinctive low, rounded silhouette with broad shoulders rising into a gracefully flared neck. The exterior is decorated with a large hand-painted rose in muted dusty pink and burgundy tones, surrounded by green foliage and smaller rosebuds. Additional individual rosebuds continue around the shade, giving the piece visual interest from multiple angles.
The pale green glass takes on a particularly beautiful appearance when illuminated, diffusing the light into a warm, soft glow while allowing the hand-painted floral decoration to remain visible.
