Louis XV Carved Walnut Cane Back Arm Chairs Fauteuils, A Pair
Solid walnut frames with ornate high-relief carvings. Cane back. Down filled seat cushion upholstered in paisley tapestry fabric. Nailhead trim.
Unsigned. Unsure of maker, but similar quality to Baker Furniture, Drexel, Ethan Allen. Likely made in the United States in the late 20th century.
Very good vintage condition. Walnut frames are very well constructed and sturdy. Normal wear, including scuffs and scratches, on the wood finish. Cane backs are in excellent condition with a couple broken strands. Upholstery is very clean and in great shape. No visible stains. Minor wear on one arm of one chair. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the chairs.
Measures 37.25" tall, 27" wide, and 26" deep with a 20" seat height and 24" arm height.
