This frontier style piece was created as a super space saver in the home with its display cabinet with paned glass doors that have a shallow depth. A hinged pull-down table-top transforms the middle section into a desk. When opened, this section reveals interior drawers, slots, and cupboard door to hold writing utensils, papers, letters and the like. The solid wood secretary is made of solid wood with dual exposed button drawer pulls on the lower three drawers. It rests on decorative ogre brackets that give the overall piece an air of Georgian influence. Both the upper and the desk have their original locking keys. The secretary shows signs of wear that are consistent with its near antique age and is in good condition overall. See less
