This is a nice, solid piece that sits level and stable on the floor, and it rotates smoothly without catching, tilting, or squeaking. The top and drum storage sections rotate independently, allowing the top to turn while the storage area remains stationary, or the drum can be rotated without moving the top. Both functions operate smoothly. There are signs of use to be found, but overall, it looks and functions fine. Top to bottom details: The leather on the top surface is in good overall condition. There are a few blemishes and darkening toward the outside; otherwise, it is fine. It has not dried out, and the inlaid gold border looks excellent. The wooden outer edge shows signs of normal wear, but nothing highly noticeable. It was impossible to get a quality picture of the top surface without a lot of glare, with and without the use of the camera flash, so there are multiple pictures of this section taken from different angles. All three storage areas are in excellent condition with few signs of prior use present. The bottoms, sides, and backs are nearly spotless, and the tops have slight wear from the pieces being rotated. The drawer false fronts, for the most part, look very good. One has some finish loss that blends in with the rest of the surface well, and one is missing a drawer pull. Otherwise, all is in fine shape with a nice glossy finish, drawer pulls that are corrosion free, and no damage, but there is slight wear to the outer edges. The underside of the drum has the only laminate loss on the entire piece. Naturally, this is not visible when the table is sitting on the floor and not on a bench as it was for us. The center pedestal section’s exterior is excellent with no damage or wear and has a nice finish. The legs are all very good down to the “feet”, where there is some wear, on one more than the rest. This has been stained and now matches the rest of the piece well. The center hub where the legs attach was repaired at one leg decades ago, and it has held strong. Aside from a thin line, there is no sign that this was done. The table originally had caster wheels, but they were removed not long after it was purchased, thus they are not present. Please see the pictures for further details.
