* Alberto Meda was born in 1945 in Lenno Tremezzina (Como). He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan. In 1987 and 1989, he designed Lightlight and Softlight for Alias, two historic chairs, the first of which is on display in the permanent collection of MoMA. This piece has an attribution mark,
