Presenting a substantial mid-century vintage glass lamp with bouillotte tole shade featuring a square base with convenient on/off switch, glass column and dual lamp sockets.
The shade is vintage tole metal in black with traditional antique gold accents and reticulated cutouts at the upper edge.
All fittings are brass. It is significant in weight and presence; quality only found in manufacturing techniques of a past era.
Bouillotte style originates from an 18th century card game and the furniture that was designed for it. This style is particularly fitting in modern interiors for Dorthy Draper Art Deco style homes, French country, traditional settings, or any place that needs a bit of decorative "soul" only found by adding in a touch of vintage!
