This globe- shaped … Read more A captivating mid-century modern Brutalist terracotta amphora vase handcrafted by the noted Spanish studio, Partenon, circa 1950's-1950's. This globe- shaped vessel boasts a perfectly balanced 7" x 7" proportions, making it an exceptional design choice. The vase features striking tactile artistry, including diagonal linear scoring along the rim, chevrons on the shoulder, and multiple layers of deeply sculpted scallops on the base. The vase is finished in a highly textured, faux-bronzed oxidized patina with olive sage, charcoal, and chalky white undertones. It carries the appearance of an excavated antiquarian relic. The pieced is signed/stamped by Partenon on the underside of the base. This vase is in excellent structural vintage condition free from scuffs, scrapes, chips, or cracks. See less
