The … Read more Circa the Victorian era, this is a beautiful example of the elongated fancy link the French are known for. The bracelet consists eight foliate inspired segments, each with an Old Mine Cut diamond and an open pattern of wirework. The segments are connected by a tiny round link, and the bracelet closes with a hidden clasp that integrates seamlessly into the bracelet and opens by pressing a tiny button element; the pattern is incorporated into the clasp, so other than the safety chain, the design is continuous throughout the bracelet. The elongated links are slightly convex, so the bracelet lays smoothly against the wrist.

The bracelet contains eight 2 mm Old European Cut diamonds. The stones are set in white gold to highlight the white of the diamonds and make them appear even brighter.

The bracelet measures 7” and weighs 15.5 grams. It is marked with the French eagle for 18k gold, the Minerva, and a maker’s mark we were not able to distinguish.

Made in the 1890’s and in very good condition. A great piece to add some history and French flair to your stack! See less
