Acquired from an art gallery in Melbourne, Australia, this work depicts elongated human and animal figures rendered in earthy red-brown and ivory pigments. Fine linear patterns, crosshatched passages, and geometric markings create intricate visual detail across the composition. The bark surface retains its organic texture and irregularities, contributing to the individual character of the artwork. Wood supports run along the upper and lower edges and are secured with fiber ties. An expressive example of Australian Aboriginal art, this vintage work reflects a distinctive visual tradition of narrative imagery and symbolic representation. In good condition, visible and minimal wear. See less
