The Liz armchair was designed by Danish furniture icon Niels Koefoed and began production in 1961 by Koefoeds Møbelfabrik in … Read more The Liz armchair was designed by Danish furniture icon Niels Koefoed and began production in 1961 by Koefoeds Møbelfabrik in Hornslet, Denmark.

The chair is made of teak and is characterized by its slender, softly shaped frame. The elegantly curved rear legs contribute to the high comfort for which the model is known. The front legs are round and tapered, while the leg connections give the chair very good stability. The beautifully designed armrests are advancedly joined with the connection between the front and rear legs.

The high back with slender, curved slats gives the chair an airy and elegant expression. Liz fits just as well at the dining table as at the desk.

The frame is stamped.

The chairs are in very good condition with only a few signs of wear. The completed armchairs have new padding and new upholstery in soft, cognac-colored leather. This piece has an attribution mark,
