A splendid pair of Italian-designed armchairs from the 1950s, fully attributable to the organic and dynamic style of Marco Zanuso … Read more A splendid pair of Italian-designed armchairs from the 1950s, fully attributable to the organic and dynamic style of Marco Zanuso for Arflex (such as the famous Lady model) or to the contemporary designs of Paolo Buffa and Gigi Radice for Minotti. The seats are distinguished by their slightly flared geometric armrests and the original vintage upholstery in mustard green/olive bouclé fabric. The frame rests on elegant, tapered solid wood legs, lending a visual lightness and the typical slender character of Milanese modernism of the period. The wood and upholstery are in excellent structural condition.
