Designed by Michael van Beuren, Klaus Grabe, and Morley Webb, the Alacrán Chaise Lounge is a landmark of Mexican modernism. Introduced around 1940, its sculptural wood frame and hand-woven webbing earned international recognition after winning MoMA’s Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition, blending Bauhaus simplicity with traditional Mexican craftsmanship. Adjustable lounge. Original Domus label. Professionally refinished. Seat height is 10”.
