This is a pretty pair of vintage mahogany French provincial nightstands or end tables. The pieces are unsigned but likely imported in the late 20th century.
The night stands feature solid wood construction, paneled top with scalloped front edge, 3 dovetail jointed drawers with original brass pulls, shaped apron on three sides with decorative scroll carving on the front, and cabriole style legs with shell carvings on the knees. The finish is a rich mahogany stain with burgundy undertones.
The late 20th century nightstands are in very good vintage condition. The nightstands are solid and sturdy with smoothly sliding drawers. Minor wear and fading to the wood finish. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the nightstands.
Each night stand measures 20" wide, 18" deep, and 23" tall.
