Elegant vintage wall mirror by La Barge Mirrors, Inc. of Holland, Michigan, retaining its original manufacturer’s label and identified as Pattern 1427.
This striking mirror features an elaborate Rococo Revival-inspired frame with a tall pierced crest, scrolling foliate ornamentation, graceful curves, and an intentionally aged cream and soft gold-toned finish. The shaped mirror plate follows the sculptural contours of the frame, creating a particularly decorative silhouette.
The narrow vertical proportions make this an excellent statement mirror for an entryway, powder room, bedroom, dressing area, or positioned between architectural elements or sconces.
A beautiful example of La Barge’s highly decorative Hollywood Regency aesthetic, combining European-inspired ornament with the glamorous American interiors associated with the late 20th century.
