A set of four wrought iron chairs designed by Francois Carre. This is set is a fine earlier set possibly dating it to around 1930. Each chair features delicately scroll curved arms and backs with exposed rivet pattern along the back rests and that distinct sunburst pattern seat.
Good overall condition with overall wear and use. Due to the age of the set there has been multiple coats of a hunter green colored paint applied to the iron frames. Structurally sound and sturdy. All welds are visually intact.
The approximate measurements of each are 38" high at the back x 20" wide x 21" deep. The arm height is approximately 26.5". the seat height is approximately 18".
