A charming pair of late 19th century Victorian rattan plant stands featuring three-tier construction, hand-tied bamboo details, and classic Aesthetic Movement styling.
The rattan frames have been carefully restored while preserving the character and patina acquired over more than a century of use. The original tier surfaces remain intact and were intentionally left as found, displaying age, wear, scratches, and imperfections consistent with their history. Their matte finish has a wonderfully aged appearance that complements the warm honey tones of the bamboo.
Finding a single Victorian rattan plant stand is a treat. Finding a matching pair is considerably more uncommon. Perfect for displaying ferns, orchids, trailing plants, or as sculptural accents in a sunroom, conservatory, or Old Florida-inspired interior.
