ABOUT
Authentic 1930s "Colonist Craft" dining set manufactured by the renowned Sikes Company. This dining set bridges traditional early American form with sleek, clean Art Deco and pre-mid-century modernist lines. Crafted from durable solid hardwood maple, this line features sculpted , high back dining chairs and an extendable dining table with pull-out leaves on both ends.

MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES Maple
CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. All very sturdy. One leaf slightly dips down on the sides.
DIMENSIONS Chairs: H 37 in. W 17 in. D 22 in. Seat Height 17.5 in., Table: H 29.25 in. W 41.75 (extension: 86 in.) D 30 Knee Clearance 23.5 in.
HISTORY
In 1859 the Sikes Company was established and operated in Buffalo, NY. The company continued the manufacture of fine furniture until 1956.
