The chair features a sweeping upholstered back that curves continuously into the arms, supported by exposed clear-lacquered beech supports. A deep blue upholstered seat sits within the molded beech shell, while slender polished chrome legs give the chair a light, architectural profile.

This example retains its original factory specification label documenting the A580 model and its two-tone Knoll upholstery. The seat is upholstered in Knoll Summit in the Vista colorway, paired with a contrasting patterned Knoll textile in Blue Spruce across the wraparound back.

The combination of natural beech, chrome, and richly textured blue upholstery gives the chair a particularly strong presence from every angle. Well suited as a dining, desk, conference, or occasional chair.

Designed by John Coleman for Allermuir, the Mollie A580 remains in production today. This example dates to 2018 and features clear beech, polished chrome, and original two-tone Knoll upholstery.
