Add a French touch to your table decor with this elegant quality Limoges porcelain tureen with lid decorated with floral motifs by Charles Field and dating from the 1930's. The fine gold gilt accentuates the delicate handles and edges of the tureen. It's in excellent antique condition with normal wear from age and use. Free of chips, cracks or repairs
This wonderful piece is marked on the underside by Limoges and is indeed characteristic of the fine craftsmanship prevalent in France during the early part of the 20th century. Would make for beautiful a centerpiece for formal entertaining or as an impressive display piece during the holidays.
