Its free-flowing, organic shape evokes both an elongated leaf and a hoof, with a tapered point that gives it a truly unique character. The exterior bears the broad facets left by the adze, that tool of yesteryear that gave the wood an almost raw, lifelike quality. The interior, however, has been smoothed, revealing the natural grain of the wood. We love this retro piece of folk art, as decorative as it is generous.

The bowl is antique and dates from the 1970s. It is made of olive wood. Underneath its base, the initials "M.O." of the sculptor and "Saint Tropez" are engraved.
