Italian Florentine Tole Chandelier, Italy, 1950s
An Italian Florentine chandelier dating from the 1950s, featuring an elaborate hand-crafted tole-painted metal frame richly decorated with gilded leaves, curling branches, and delicate floral motifs.
The sculptural frame is complemented by numerous faceted clear glass drops and decorative glass elements, creating beautiful reflections when illuminated. Six candle-style lights are arranged around the lower tier, while the tall, open framework gives the chandelier an elegant and airy silhouette.
A wonderful example of traditional Italian decorative lighting, combining the romantic character of Florentine gilded metalwork with sparkling glass decoration. Its elaborate botanical design makes it particularly suited to classic, eclectic, or maximalist interiors.
