Mouth-blown glass vase from the decorative Cascade series, featuring soft, spiralling colour ribbons in pink, amber, green and violet tones. The form is elegantly elongated with a gently flared foot. Origin: Denmark. Material: Glass. Dimensions: H. 18 cm, D. 8 cm. Period: 1970s. Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. Per Lütken (1916–1998) was Holmegaard’s most influential glass designer, responsible for many of the company’s iconic series from the 1950s onward. His work is characterised by organic forms, technical mastery and a refined sense of colour. The Cascade series is one of his more decorative expressions, where layered colours create a vivid, painterly effect. See less
