Tall, conical stoneware vase with a dark glaze featuring subtle vertical streaks that reveal lighter tones along the rim. Its simple yet refined form and deep glaze are characteristic of Rörstrand’s mid-century stoneware. Origin: Sweden. Material: Stoneware. Dimensions: H. 15 cm, D. 10 cm. Period: Mid-20th century. Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear. During the mid-20th century, Rörstrand (founded 1726) developed a strong stoneware tradition marked by experimental glazes and restrained Nordic forms. Many models from this period were produced in small series and display high craftsmanship, making them desirable among collectors today. See less
