Very appealing French art deco era prints, one a "Chez Mercier Freres", the other from "The Gazette du Bon Ton". The Gazette du Bon Ton was a small but influential fashion magazine published in France from 1912 to 1925. Founded by Lucien Vogel, the short-lived publication reflected the latest developments in fashion, lifestyle and beauty during a period of revolutionary change in art and society.,
The prints are presented in fine silver gilt House of Heydenryk frames. Perfect for when one needs a memory of a summer day in Provence, or an autumn afternoon in a Parisian bistrot. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a little bit of France on your wall.
The prints are finely framed, and are framed under glass. The House of Heydenryk frames are from the mid/late 20th C. The prints are of the period.
