Antique oak secretary with graceful carved and curved crown displaying monogram and date of 1805.
Newer, professionally applied layered antique white exterior with gray undertones and contrasting interior painted in blue (with light gray undertones) bring new life to this lovely "bureau" or secretary desk.
Desktop rests on two extended arms (no lock). Opened reveals six drawers and central cubbie/cabinet with additional smaller six drawers.
Lower section has one narrow drawer over three larger drawers with brass pulls. There are 2 metal "pins" used to lock the narrow drawer. Other locks no longer function so upper doors do not stay locked and rest opened. keys included to use as decorative pulls only.
