Exuding classic French elegance, this early 20th-century decorative box is crafted from vibrant turquoise-blue opaline glass featuring a smooth, lustrous finish. The cylindrical body is framed by a hinged brass metal collar embossed with delicate floral and scroll motifs. A decorative acorn-shaped brass finial rests atop the fitted lid, secured through the glass with an ornamental brass rosette rosette on the underside.
An ideal accent piece for a vanity, dressing table, or shelf display, this hinged trinket jar brings vibrant color and refined detail to French Provincial, Traditional, or Hollywood Regency interiors. To care for the opaline glass and brass fittings, gentle wiping with a soft, dry microfiber cloth is recommended. Dimensions measure 4.25 inches in width, 4.25 inches in depth, and 5.25 inches in total height. The box is in very good antique condition, offering a smooth-hinged closure, tight-fitting lid, and pristine glass surfaces free from chips, cracks, or restorations, with gentle patina along the brass mounts consistent with age. Acquire this fine piece of French decorative glass to elevate your collection today.
