This intriguing piece is a signed Richard Marshall studio pottery RARE Woo creature. Woo Creatures, according to lore, are believed to bring peace and good fortune to those fortunate enough to catch one. Each Woo is hand built and no two are ever the same.
He is in excellent condition. The attached copper wire can be used to hang the creature - hence 'flying'.
This piece was originally purchased from the artist in the 1980's at the the Raleigh Artsplosure Art Street Show.
