The expressive modelling of the dog’s face against a soft blue background gives the piece a warm, characterful presence. Surrounding the portrait is a decorative border of alternating coloured glass segments punctuated by small floral motifs, creating a rhythmic frame typical of early Belgian Art Deco craftsmanship.

Framed in metal and fitted with a hanging chain, the roundel works beautifully as a window ornament, a wall‑mounted accent, or a luminous decorative element that brings both colour and personality into a curated interior. A charming example of early‑20th‑century stained‑glass artistry, combining artisanal technique with a distinctive and affectionate subject. See less
