Published in conjunction with Robert Rauschenberg's 1984 exhibition at the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France, this original lithographic poster features a layered composition of photographic imagery, gestural forms, and graphic elements characteristic of the artist's groundbreaking visual language. Blending printmaking, photography, and collage aesthetics, the work reflects Rauschenberg's influential approach to image-making and his continual experimentation with mixed media. Created as an exhibition poster, the piece serves as both a collectible work of graphic design and a document of one of the most celebrated artists of the postwar era.

Robert Rauschenberg (1925–2008) was one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century, renowned for bridging the gap between Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. Through his innovative "Combines," prints, photographs, and multimedia works, he expanded the possibilities of contemporary art and challenged traditional distinctions between painting, sculpture, and everyday life. In 1964, he became the first American artist to win the Grand Prize at the Venice Biennale. His work is held in the collections of major institutions worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Tate, and the Centre Pompidou. Today, Rauschenberg is celebrated as a pioneering force whose experimentation helped redefine contemporary art.
