This is a whimsical pair of vintage ceramic elephant planters, decorated in soft white, lime green, and yellow with raised geometric Greek-key-style borders and ornate saddle details. Each elephant features a sculptural form, curled trunk, painted eyes and feet, and a generously sized open planter at the top.
These would be for a living room, sun-room, entryway, covered porch or shelving / mantle. They can be used as planters, book ends or just figurative pieces. The pieces are unmarked, and the country of origin is unknown. They are ceramic with a glossy hand-finished appearance.
