The vase features the typical geometric shape of a flattened parallelepiped and the famous motif of stylized cities and towers, one of the most iconic and sought-after themes of his artistic production in the 1960s. The work expresses the mid-century modernist language typical of the Veneto region. Schiavon combines glossy polychrome glaze with graffiti or incised sections, creating an abstract and vibrant skyline composed of spires, pointed roofs, and windows. The work features intense chromatic accents, with strong contrasts between the dark background, the warm tones of burnt orange, yellow ochre, and the silvery-gray hues of the towers.
