Vintage pair of sculptural swivel barrel lounge chairs by Classic Gallery, Inc., dating to the late 20th century.
The chairs feature a distinctive low-profile barrel silhouette with generously rounded arms, fully upholstered frames, loose seat cushions, and concealed swivel bases. The sculptural form is strongly reminiscent of Milo Baughman’s upholstered seating designs.
The original multicolored woven upholstery is particularly distinctive, combining warm neutral tones with subtle accents of rust, orange, blue, teal, red, and green. The substantial woven texture gives the chairs considerable visual interest while remaining neutral enough to work within a variety of interiors.
The chairs are comfortable and the swivel mechanisms function properly.
