Introduced as one of Weller's earliest decorated art lines, this piece highlights the legendary "squeeze-bag" (slip-trail) technique pioneered by ceramic artist Henry Schmidt.

Moving away from the more common dark chocolate brown Turada glazes, this rare variant features a handsome, deep olive-green body. It is masterfully piped with complex, raised cream-colored scrolls and accenting cobalt-blue medallions looping around the elongated neck and bulbous, teardrop lower frame. A beautifully preserved piece of early Ohio art pottery that offers historic character and sophisticated craftsmanship for curated traditional, rustic, or eclectic spaces. See less
