This elegant Pair of 2 Plates is made of porcelain. These beautiful plates present motifs depicting the French countryside in a soft pastoral scenic style; one plate depicts horses with a hay cart being loaded by 2 figures in period attire with another playing with her dog, and the other plate depicts a lovely scene of 3 figures resting in the grass with one figure further away with his horse in the field behind them. The bottom of each plate is marked "Porcelaine De Limoges France", and one plate is additionally marked "Romance | Limoges, France", see pictures.
