Instant collection: a magnificent and comprehensive 12-piece assemblage of 19th-century English copper lustreware ceramics. This curated grouping, primarily dating from the Victorian era (circa 1830–1860), showcases the remarkable craftsmanship of Staffordshire potteries.
The collection features a stunning array of highly reflective, metallic copper glazes, which are beautifully juxtaposed with vibrant, hand-painted yellow-ground bands and delicate pink and green floral transferware or "splash" motifs. The set offers incredible variety in form and function, including:
Statement Pitchers: Featuring varied profiles and intricate relief-molded designs (one prominent piece showcases a detailed classical basket-of-flowers motif).
Tea & Tableware: Including a squat-bodied teapot, sugar bowls, and creamers suitable for a partial service.
Cabinet Pieces: A selection of decorative mugs, cups, and a master salt cellar.
Together, these pieces create a warm, reflective, and highly textured tablescape. They are perfect for adding a touch of historic, eclectic charm to a country house, English cottage, or any maximalist interior.

Typical of authentic early-to-mid 19th-century Staffordshire pieces, minor kiln stilt marks, tiny surface specks, and slight glaze irregularities. Specific flaws noted on two pieces (priced accordingly for the set): Large Yellow-Ground Pitcher: Features a tight structural hairline crack running from the interior rim down through the upper body near the spout. Displays brilliantly from the front as a decorative shelf accent, but is recommended for display only rather than holding liquids. Ribbed Teapot: Features a broken/snapped-off tip to the spout and a stress line/old repair at the upper handle attachment. Sold strictly as-is for display or restoration. Remaining 10 Pieces: Good antique condition, exhibiting only minor, age-appropriate wear such as light rubbing to the lustre glaze and manufacturing stilt marks typical of 19th-century ceramics. Please review all photos for specific details on each piece. less
