A wonderful example of a bygone era of structure and design. This lockside chest works perfectly with the accompanying key to keep it locked when not in use and unlocked as needed. Based on the looks from the top, it would’ve once had a matching adornment that would’ve rested in the dowel fittings. As it goes, probably broken, separated, or lost over time. Comprised of 7 deep drawers, plenty of space to house a wide collection of garments or other items.
