Description

Beautiful antique/vintage Dresden-style porcelain figurine of an elegant 18th-century court lady, measuring approximately 10.5 inches tall x 6 inches wide.

The figure is exceptionally decorative, depicting a fashionable woman in an elaborate Rococo-style gown with a turquoise-blue fitted bodice, pale pink overskirt, floral bouquets, gilt decoration and layers of highly detailed white ruffles. Her dress is further embellished with delicate raised lace-like porcelain detailing, while red shoes peek from beneath the skirt.

The figure stands on an integral round porcelain pedestal decorated with blue flowers and lavender and reddish-brown bands. The underside shows a small impressed/painted marking, but I cannot confidently attribute the maker from the mark visible in the photograph. I would therefore list it as Dresden style rather than attribute it to a particular factory.

Measurements: Approximately 10.5” H x 6” W.

Condition: Displays well overall but does show age and wear. There appear to be losses/chipping to some of the delicate applied porcelain lace and ruffled areas, along with scattered surface wear and minor imperfections. Because these lace details are extremely fragile, please review all photographs carefully for exact condition. Sold as an antique/vintage decorative piece with condition as shown.
