Beautiful vintage Japanese painted 4-panel Silk Byobu (folding screen) depicts an Evergreen Pine Tree. Signed and sealed by artist. Gouache, watercolor and ink on silk over paper. Silk brocade border. Lacquered black wood frame. Paper and an original label on back. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1960s. Very Good to Good condition - some age wear, some staining, small damage on silk (image #9), two small patches on back, strong joints, clean, sturdy.
