An abstract etching by the Israeli artist Nissan Engel (1931-2016). Titled Oratorio, this piece features abstract shapes in shades of red, blue and beige, with music notes floating faintly in the center. Held in a wooden frame against a white mat, this etching is signed, titled and numbered 90/150 to lower edge.
Nissan Engel was a mixed media artist born in Haifa, Israel who started his career as an artist studying at the Bezalel School of Art in Jerusalem. He became known for his unique style of collage.
